    Chapter Services available to CVSHRM Members

    HR Networking (Practice Area) Discussion Groups

    CVSHRM has established several different networking discussion groups that can help you in your times of need. These groups are made up of between 5 and 25 individuals who do extensive work in the topic area of the group. The groups come together about once every four to eight weeks to share their experiences and ask questions from one another, and then between the meetings they share documents, advice, and answers to questions from a member of the group.

    There’s no cost to participate in a networking group – it’s an added value of your membership in CVSHRM!  If a part of your work responsibilities, tasks, and projects fall within the topic area, you can join in the conversation.

    Resume Bank

    The CVSHRM Job Bank Coordinator keeps resumes and a list of individuals who are looking for a new HR work experience – this information is kept in confidence.  When the Job Bank Coordinator becomes aware of a HR opening in the community (regardless of whether it’s announced on the CVSHRM Job Board), she will send an email to everyone on her list.  In addition, if an employer contacts CVSHRM to see if any of our members are looking for new opportunities, the Job Bank Coordinator will contact the people in the list to see if they would like their resume and contact information released to the employer.

    HR Job Posting Service 

    Members can post an HR related position on the CVSHRM website for no cost.  In addition, by following specific procedures, CVSHRM Members can post HR related positions on the Wisconsin State Council of SHRM (WISHRM) Job Board at a reduced rate.  If you would like to post a job on the WISHRM site, CVSHRM will pass along to you any reimbursement it receives from WISHRM for that job posting.  Please send an email to Betty Laskowski, our Job Bank Coordinator (bettyl@rcu.org), for more information regarding reimbursement for the WISHRM job posting.

    Members can click here to access the roster of our current members, which includes phone numbers, email addresses, and the organization they work for.  The database is also searchable, even if only a first name is known.
